About Eswatini Airlink

Eswatini Airlink was the national flag carrier of Eswatini (previously Swaziland).

Eswatini Airlink was founded in 1999, as a joint venture between the Swaziland Government (now the Eswatini, after the country’s name was changed) and Airlink. The airline was established to take over operations from Royal Swazi National Airways Corporation, the previous flag carrier of Eswatini.

The airline was part of the Star Alliance loyalty program, thanks to its partner airline, Airlink. This alliance extends to South African Airways, South African Express and South African Airlink, as well as the other airlines in the alliance. Eswatini Airlink operated daily scheduled passenger flights to South Africa as part of Airlink, its parent company.

Baggage Allowance

As it operated on behalf of Airlink, passengers were subject to Airlink’s baggage allowance and terms and conditions when flying with Eswatini Airlink. Please note that the baggage allowance was a guide and was subject to change. Your baggage allowance would have been confirmed during the booking process.

Carry-On Baggage

Economy Class passengers were permitted 1 piece of hand luggage.

Items transported as hand luggage must not have exceeded 56cm x 34cm x 23cm in size, and no larger than 8kg in weight.

Cabin Class

The airline operated an Embraer ERJ 135LR, which has a maximum capacity of 37 passengers. On the plane, there was standard seating.

Economy Class Facilities

The aircraft had a refreshments galley, with beverages served during the flight and snacks available for purchase. There were W/C facilities onboard the aircraft. Overhead storage compartments provided ample space to store carry-on baggage during the flight.

Economy Class Seats

The standard seating was in a 2-1 formation. Seats are comfortable, with padded headrests and armrests.
