Baggage Policy

Gum Air has a different baggage policy for carry-on and checked baggage policy.

Carry-on Baggage

Carry-on baggage will only be allowed when space permits. Carry-on baggage refers to personal processions such as a laptop, small bag, or camera. When space does not permit, the airline may require the personal items to be included as part of the passengers free baggage allowance.

Checked Baggage

All passengers are permitted to checked baggage, which is included in the price of the ticket. The allowance is subject to the airline's conditions and limitations, and is dependant on the aircraft being operated. Checked baggage allowance will be confirmed during the booking process.

Cabin Classes

There is only one class of seating onboard Gum Air flights: standard (Economy) seating.

What is seating like?

The aircraft that will be operated will depend on the demand and the route bing operated. When flying in the Cessna (Cessna 208B Grand Caravan) passengers will experience a quiet and spacious cabin. The De Havilland Canada DHC-6-300 Twin Otter can carry more passengers, up to 19.

Facilities

Facilities onboard the aircraft will be limited during the flight, due to the nature of the smaller aircraft. There is storage space under the seats. However, passengers are advised to make the most of meal/snack and W/C facilities at the airport before departure.

Check-In

Gum Air passengers must check in at the airport since the airline doesn't offer online check in.

Online Check-in

Online check-in is not currently available.

Airport Check-in

Passengers are advised to arrive as early as possible to complete check-in, usually about 2 hours prior to scheduled departure.

Frequent Flyer Program

The airline does not currently offer a frequent flyer program.
