About Siam Air Transport

Siam Air Transport, otherwise known as Siam Air, was an airline based in Bangkok, Thailand. Siam Air flew to a handful of destinations around Asia including Changsha, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok.

The airline operated a fleet of ATR-72 aircraft. Siam Air's hub was at Don Mueang International Airport in Bangkok.

Unfortunately, in 2019, Siam Air faced financial difficulties and was forced to suspend all operations. Eventually, the airline's Air Operator's Certificate was revoked in 2020 by the Thai Department of Civil Aviation. Operations have not resumed since then.

Hub Airport

Don Mueang International Airport

Don Mueang International Airport is an international airport in Bangkok, Thailand. It is one of two international airports serving Bangkok, the other being Suvarnabhumi Airport.

The airport was previously known as Bangkok International Airport before Suvarnabhumi Airport opened in 2006. It's currently Asia's oldest operating airport, opening in 1914.

Don Mueang is a hub for other Thai airlines including Nok Air and Thai AirAsia. It also operates frequent flights with Thai Lion Air.


Fleet

Siam Air Transport's fleet consisted of ATR-72s and Boeing 737-300s before ceasing operations in 2019.
