Alternative Airlines to offer 0% APR Finance on Flight Tickets for U.S Customers with Affirm
The UK-based flight search website Alternative Airlines is now offering 0% APR finance on all flights under $1,000 for U.S customers through its partnership with Affirm.
U.S customers who qualify will be offered the option to take out 0% APR loans for 3 or 6 months on any flight around the world, under $1,000 with Alternative Airlines. Customers will have the benefit of paying for their flight tickets in monthly instalments and will receive a realtime decision. For example, a $1,000 purchase on airline tickets at 0% APR would cost $166.67 per month over 6 months. Affirm may require an initial down payment.

Alternative Airlines is a flight search website that specialises in providing a wide range of flights for the off-the-beaten track destinations as well as popular locations. The integration with Affirm adds to the list of alternative payment options that Alternative Airlines offers such as PayPal, Amazon Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Alipay in China.
U.S customers can also select flights over $1,000 and apply for a loan through its partnership with Affirm. All loans are based on real-time decisions, and customers have the benefit of purchasing the flight tickets now and paying for them over time via simple monthly instalments. “Offering 0% APR finance loans on flight tickets provides convenience and flexibility. Alternative Airlines partnered with the San Francisco based fintech company Affirm towards the end of 2018 and they have already seen a 42% increase in average order value and a 6% repurchase rate with Affirm.
