LATAM Airlines Perú (formerly known as LAN Perú S.A) is a subsidiary of LATAM Airlines, based in Lima, Perú. The airline was founded in 1998 and began operations in 1999 with domestic services and international services commenced on 15th November 1999. The parent company, LAN Chile, merged with TAM Airlines and rebranded to form LATAM Airlines. Following this, LAN Perú also rebranded to LATAM Perú in 2004. In 2009, LATAM Perú received authorisation to provide aircraft maintenance services. Other subsidiaries of LATAM Airlines Group include LATAM Chile, LATAM Argentina and LATAM Ecuador.

The airline has codeshare agreements with Korean air and WestJet.

Baggage Policy

LATAM Airlines Perú allows passengers to bring a carry-on bag free of charge on-board.

Carry-on Baggage

The maximum weight for carry-on baggage is 8 kilos (17 lb) in Economy and 16 (35 lb) kilos in Premium Economy or Premium Business. Flying Economy on a route with its origin and/or destination in Brazil, the maximum weight is 10 kilos. The maximum dimensions are 21 in (55 cm) x 13 in (35 cm) x 9 in (25 cm) (height, width and depth), including the pockets, wheels and handle. Carry-on baggage must not exceed the size and weight permitted, otherwise it should be sent as checked baggage, which is subject to fees if it exceeds the permitted baggage allowance.

Economy Class is one of two cabin classes that the airline offers. It offers a stripped-back but comfortable journey, with some excellent in-flight extras to keep you relaxed and entertained throughout the flight.

On select flights, passengers are given access to LATAM Play — the airline's fantastic in-flight entertainment system, which has a massive range of films, TV shows, games and other entertainment to enjoy for the duration of the flight.

Passengers can order food, drinks and hot meals (subject to availability) from the airline's in-flight menu.

Economy Class Seats

Economy Class seats are set out in a 3 x 3 formation on short-haul flights and a 3 x 3 x 3 formation on long-haul flights. Seats give 30–32 inches of pitch and 16–18 inches of width.

Business Class

Business Class is the airline's most premium cabin class and is available on select international flights. The Business Class service is delivered by the airline's expertly trained cabin crew, who pay special attention to the Business section of the aircraft.

Business Class Facilities

The Business Class cabin offers an excellent dining experience, with hot meals prepared by renowned chefs. The Busines Class experience also comes with a full drinks menu, with hot, cold, alcoholic and soft drinks on offer.

Business Class passengers can keep themselves entertained through the airline's in-flight entertainment system. The entertainment system can be accessed through the personal monitors which are fitted to each Business Class seat and includes a range of movies, television shows, games and more.

What are Business Class Seats Like?

The Business Class cabin is set out in a 2 x 2 x 2 formation. Each seat gives up to 75 inches of pitch and 23 inches of width. Business Class seats lie fully flat into beds.
